Service Terms and Conditions
- Please Note: Because Reflection of Beauty by Sharday LLC reserves the date and time, books assistant(s) if necessary, and does not accept any other Clients for Event date/time, Client may not reduce the number of services booked once the Agreement is signed and retainer Fee paid.
- Non-Refundable Retainer : Artist requires a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable retainer
- Early Call Times: A $50.00 fee will be charged for booked appointments before 6:00 am.
- Additional Artist Fee: Parties of six (6) persons or more may require an additional artist and are subject to a $120.00 fee per additional artist.
- Secured Booking. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when the signed Agreement AND/OR retainer are received by the Client.
- Forms of Payment. Acceptable payment will be cash, cash app, and Zelle. 3% additional processing fee for all debit/credit cards.
- Delays: All clients have a 10 minute grace period. 11-19 minutes late there will be a $25 fee charged to your service. After 20 minutes of delay, client appointment will be cancelled. Your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Exclusivity Clause: Reflection of Beauty and additional artist provided by Reflection of Beauty by Sharday shall act as the ONLY makeup artists for the Event when booked by client. If another Makeup Artist is providing makeup artistry services on the Event date, the client can be subject to a breach in exclusivity fee of no less than $150. This applies only to On location weddings and events.
- Cancellation. A cancellation means the event date has been changed, cancelled, or postponed.
- Client Cancellation. Your retainer reserves the contracted services for your Event. If you decide to cancel your services, for any reason, you will not receive a refund. Your retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable for cancelled appointments. All cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance and must be submitted in writing via email to: [email protected] via text (630) 272-8792 or through the booking site. Same day cancellations will be charged 100% of service fee.
- Artist Cancellation. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, the retainer paid will be fully refunded by the original method received within seven (7) days of the date of cancellation. Client agrees that the refund of the retainer is the only liability to Client.
- Service Location and Requirements: Location of service for on-location will be at the discretion of the client and must be provided to and agreed upon by the artist.
- Parking Fees: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event. Hotel valet will be added to the client’s room.
- Travel Fee: A mileage fee is included in each service for locations inside a twenty-mile (20) radius of my location. Outside of this radius, a travel fee will be quoted to contract. The amount will be determined based on the event Location. All mileage fees will be calculated and included in the final invoice.
- Airfare and Accommodations: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.
- Lodging: Lodging is required per artist for events more than 2 hours away, one way.
- Safety and Incident Clause.
- Unsanitary, infectious or unsafe conditions: We reserve the right to refuse services if unsanitary conditions exist and/or contagious infections are present. Client understands and acknowledges that Artists will NOT provide services where any contagious infections such as pink eye (conjunctivitis) or cold sores/fever blisters are present and there shall be no refund of any retainer paid.
- Safety Clause. Client acknowledges and agrees that verbal abuse of an Artist/Stylist is unacceptable by any person at the event and shall be grounds for the Artist/Stylist to cease services immediately. Client acknowledges that they will not be entitled to a refund for any work already performed.
- Liability: All tools and products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every client. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to Sharday prior to application and, if need be, a sample test may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release Reflection of Beauty by Sharday, its owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions to Client or any individual in their party.
- Promotional Rights. The Client gives the Artist the right and permission to use, publish, and exhibit, including, but not limited to, on the internet and in publications, any pictures, portraits, digital images, videos or photographs of the Client, their party and details of the Event solely for the promotion and advertisement of Reflection of Beauty by Sharday LLc.
